Perfect Timing

In the mornings, as I've already said, I love to roll over and enjoy a few quiet minutes before my feet hit the floor to start my day. This morning, my phone dinged at 6 am. The message across my screen was from an affirmations application that I had downloaded a few months back. The message said, "Everything you need will come to you at the perfect time.".

Recently, I have struggled with timing and questioning my life decisions. As much as I wanted to live out this perfect plan I had for my life. It didn't work out that way. It has been full of surprises and unexpected things that have made me happier in the long run. I've always been a believer that there is no such thing as perfect timing. It's creating the time and perfecting as you go along.

This year I was so worried about being alone. Turns out, that was greater than I ever dreamt it could be. I healed things that I needed. I took the time to invest in myself. Turns out, I'm pretty phenomenal. I also learned how to invest in relationships that were worthy of my time and attention. If you love the dating world, you are insane! I walked out on a few dates, ended things when they no longer served a purpose to my future, and took a chance at something new.

Speaking of something new, it's turned out pretty amazing.

All in creating the time and perfecting it as I move forward.

Happy Thursday!

40th

I am 40 years old today. 40! How did that happen? Plus, it's a New Year. 2023 will be MY year. I feel it. Here are a few things on the first day of the year that I want to remind myself of when I start to feel defeated or overwhelmed.

1. If I want it, go for it. I will never know unless I try. It may be hard. It may be 1,000 x better than I could ever imagine.

2. I'm worth it. I'm worth every good thing that comes my way.

3. I'm allowed to live a happy life. I will work hard every single day to make sure I'm intentional.

4. Simplicity is ok.

5. I will not give people and things my energy if they aren't investing in me.

Happy New Year!
